Hello! Sorry for the delay, but I'm slowly settling in my new apartment in Starrett City. I've been wanting to live here since 1979.
I hope to have internet access by tomorrow afternoon. I've had to do without it for a week and it's driving me nuts! With overwhelming help from the community center in conjunction with the veterans administration and interconnected organizations, I've finally secured arguably the best possible apartment and neighborhood. Funding, furniture, accessories.... it feels like a dream! You can imagine how costly it would have been if I weren't a military veteran.
I had a nice birthday dinner with mom last night, and enjoyed a free veterans breakfast this morning. After a tumultuous decade where I contemplated suicide at least thrice, I think it's time I maintain some happiness at long last.
