I just wanna say this, and it's a long time coming, and I know many of the people on here may know what I am gonna be saying. But first off, I just wanna say I am NOT afraid to talk about Miles "Tails" Prower, if the hashtag journal name suggests, and if there's some on here that don't like what I have to say about Tails, the only 2 options are to respect my opinions and the way I like Tails, or just don't comment at all. =W=; Because this issue that's going on with Tails is becoming... Abit more serious as far as I see, and I MUST talk about it, cuz down the line, it could become so toxic that it could hurt the community beyond Inkbunny and Furaffinity and such. So with that said, here I go, and I hope I can be as loud and clear as I can. I might sound like a hypocrite to many people here... So i'm gonna have to prove it soon. I WILL... Prove it.
-ahem- ... To rip the band-aid off immediately, I don't like how I'm seeing the lack of positive Tails art here. ==' I haven't searched much Tails art to prove it, but I just want to say I CAN prove how much hate art towards Tails there are. And I might make an enemy of someone here who glorifies it a LOT, and might get some rants from people like him... But I do NOT care! ;P I love Tails, and I am not afraid to speak out against some of these practices. I mean, I've seen many... MANY pictures aimed towards in all the ways having Tails be in some form of pain. Whether it be from cucking (which is pretty much the MAIN thing), having Tails be at the bottom, putting him in Rouge's outfit, and even cock-shaming (ALL THE TIME actually with Dreamcast). And according to my friend 2BIT. Basically whenever these kinds of people that don't like Tails or just enjoy cucking him and such do make artwork, sometimes it's not pretty. As I said, I CAN prove how much hate art of Tails there are. But I'll probably have to make a follow-up journal on it, cuz I don't want them to make the journal any longer than I want it to be. The point is, I've seen that some people here really don't like how much hate art for Tails there are. And I can't blame them! =w= But I'm pretty much fearing a little (until proven from my research) that the tails bully art is becoming... Quite cancerous, because I looked up one time how much TailsxZooey art there are, and there's hardly as much as I thought, unlike on Deviantart. Seriously, search Inkbunny, look up Tails and Zooey in the search. You'll only find a small handful. Then check just Zooey, and you'll see there's WAY too many pics where Zooey gets paired with Sonic, or just being selfish to Tails. I mean heck! Dreamcast is the worst with it, and worser still with drawing Sonic as some big stud while Tails has a baby penis. =v=;
Look, fellas. I know Tails isn't always perfect, but he is NOT a bad character whatsoever, far from it!! If you look back in some of the Sonic games, for the actual good moments Tails has, he has a really good character. He's smart, funny, cute, and caring. Heck, even in what's the worst Sonic game of all time, Sonic 06, even when Sonic was 99.9% dead, when there was a way to resurrect him, Tails didn't give up there, and took this chance with his friends to do so. And in Lost World, there was some moments between Tails, Sonic, and Eggman, and they were not bad. Heck, he's still an independent character, as again in Lost World, he was able to escape captivity by the Zetis to disguise himself as a cyborg, and then does a 180 against them as planned. I can go to YouTube, and find a video that lists Tails' good moments, and explains why he's a good character too. He isn't perfect, but he's FAR from a bad character! =w=; I know many can argue Tails' character is being screwed up in some ways recently, but that doesn't mean he's become a bad character. Sometimes it's the writing. But yeah. I'm saying this for some of the people here that needs a reminder of why Tails is still not a god awfully made character. I haven't watched Sonic Boom (the TV show), but I do aim to fully make an opinion on it sooner or later.
I can probably figure out that some people on Inkbunny are becoming discouraged to talk about Tails, or make fanart or even fanfictions, or if nothing's done about it, to a point where people who like Tails can't even MENTION Tails without the Anti-Tails people bashing him at said breath.
Ack, sorry if I was overreacting. Need to keep calm. >~<;
But you get what I mean, right? I can go on abit more on why Tails isn't a bad character, and should be seen as such. I won't be able to change everybody's mind, cuz there's always gonna be that one person that hates Tails, or someone in the twisted side of the Sonic Community. But the reason I'm speaking my mind here now is because I am slowly seeing the Anti-Tails people become more bolder in taking pride in making hate content towards Tails. I mean, Dreamcast loves to just draw Tails as a girl. I don't mind genderbending being a thing though. It isn't about how you make art with characters or whatever. It's how you execute your art that matters. I'm not saying that any single artist that makes hate art for the one thing should be shamed or called some terrorist, because they probably have some skill for some good content, believe me. What I'm saying is that they shouldn't go as far as to discourage any and all people from speaking their minds, and making good content about the things they like. And if some people don't like what said people making positive art, they can just either respect what they do or not say anything mean at all. But right now that kind of IS the case, with some people being quiet about liking Tails. Heck, I tried talking to this one person in PM, that person outright REFUSED to speak of any of it. That's not a good sign. =(
Listen. Don't let ANY of the Anti-Tails, and any kind of Tails hating crud, or any kind of hate towards anything you guys like cloud your judgement. Nobody, not a single soul, can tell you what you can and can't like. It's your RIGHT to have an opinion on everything we endure. That's human. And it IS human to love Tails, or things that touch our hearts. We can't just let bullies mock us for it, or threaten us. Because those that do are just childish babies that whines about things they don't like, and want things to go their way. (I'm gonna get some hate for calling them that, but that's only for those that are immature.) All we gotta do is not let them get to us. If you guys want to make positive Tails are, GO FOR IT. Do not let people like Dreamcast and related overshadow you guys. If you want to take your own stuff out against him/her and such, that's your choice, as I am in NO WAY starting any flame wars against people.
Anyways, that's all I have to say. I do hope people take this to heart. No flame warring against Anti-Tails people whatsoever. Nothing bad happening. Just acknowledge that we all have the freedom to do what we like. So don't be discouraged to do Pro-Tails art. ;w; Take what I said to heart, and don't be held back, and do some Tails art for the lil cutie. <3 I'm gonna end it now. Have a good day, everyone! ;3
