I've always had some ideas for canon characters that were just plain cute, and I've finally decided to get some done. Expect most of those to be clean.
I always liked to think about those flashbacks in Sonic Adventure, and how much of the city was built up and how different it would look if made with today's hardware. I also thought the items Tails and Amy get should have had a bit more in-universe fanfare for their acquisition, just for scenes like this. Tails, having earned his rhythm badge and completed his initiation trials and ceremonies, is now being presented by Tikal, the priestess overseeing the whole process, to the rest of the echidna tribe. Tails is proud of his accomplishment, vowing to uphold the honor of himself and his tribe, to never back down from an evil, to never abandon friends, and never abandon a just goal.
I think that might be the problem with Tails in the recent games in a nutshell; he isn't permitted any real achievements anymore...
But I greatly appreciate any positive Tails art I see lately. It's like finding a sweet unicorn in a sea of battle horses. Tails art has taken a steep negative turn in the past couple years...
