I love Roanoak and Tom's TwoKinds series - I remember 9 years ago rushing home to get an update on TK. We aren't at Tom's level, or Scappo, or other heavy-hitters. But they do have a head start on us!

I can only hope to have that kind of fanbase on the projects I help out on. I write for Jasonafex and Immelman on top of this team's projects and it's a long way to the top and a matter of trying our best - The team sadly doesn't have the free time to build up a name through extra art or commissions to grab an audience: though some of the artists have their own separate businesses. I'm proud that the project is still growing a few members a month. Reducing pages available for free didn't drop that: we lost members after the leak, we gained more after the incentive gap started to build again.

Thanks for your input - though our front page is a disruptive place to put critique of our business model, I'll be snipping the conversation off at my last response and we can take things to notes if you feel it necessary to continue.
We've tried other models on other projects, 7 projects down and the 2 that were 100% open (fund-a-page models) didn't last long either because the narrative, VisNov style means there're gaps between "the action", or, in the case of a very adult short comic, the anonymousness of the team meant no name to carry the project. I can understand if some of the art team don't want certain projects on their portfolio or to be typecast, especially LGBT content for those living around eastern europe. The model we use works for us, that's about enough to need to say.

I ended up finding out that I work faster when I'm not streaming, so I decided to stop doing them.
I am also generally busy now with other things between drawings, so providing a fluid drawing experience for my viewers has not been possible for while D:
