I decided to change the pine marten girl's outfit to a sundress.  OH GOD HOW I LOVE SUNDRESSES

Here is the description/narrative text so you don't have to go back to the original post to read it:

"It was the first morning of his vacation in a foreign country.  He sat at a sidewalk café recommended by a friend, got an espresso and was reading the breakfast menu.  Considering all his options for the upcoming days of leisure, he felt like the world was his oyster.

Then they walked by.  They were exquisitely cute in the bright sun with their light summer outfits.  They chattered in high sweet voices, clearly excited about whatever they were looking at on their phones.  As if on cue, the fountain in the piazza behind him sprang to life, spouting water into the sky.  But something seemed a little unusual about them, and the question came into his head:  Are they girls or boys?

Leaving some money on the table for his espresso, he tried to act casual as he stood and began to follow them from a safe and cautious distance.  Breakfast would have to wait."
