Well, this is a fascinating character, but if there are siblings, there is a mother of those siblings and to my own surprise, there WAS a being that was one above Sylvia after all.

What's her name? I have no idea at the moment. I'll probably not find out her real name for a good while sadly, so for now, I'll just call her "Shrine" which is what her made up name was.

But yes, Shrine is indeed the mother of Sylvia and ... well, there's another thing I realized recently. She's also the mother of the one called "Sandra" who's original name is actually Solara.

Shrine however seemed to disappear from the scene for a long while, but she only recently appeared to Kao when he constantly had dreams of these beings known as the Spiritual Ratzus. Shrine was supposed to be the final member of the Spiritual Ratzus and was the elder sister of Suna. The thing about it was that I actually had a dream about that meeting and realized that Shrine is really the "mother" of Suna, who is literally based on Luna, or Sylvia and she explained things in a way that blew Kao's mind when he woke up. This character does appear often in spin offs and in the spin off story "the Spiritual Ratsus" which I think kind of explains the orgins of Sylvia's story indirectly. There's a LOT I have to do to organize the story, but it's all finally starting to piece together now that I finally figured out why the Spiritual Ratzus are so relevant and why Kao thought he made them up.

Anyway, I'd normally have a link to her page on my website, but I will upload that later. I'm really sleepy, but this is the furthest up that the Ratzu family goes. The mother of the Goddess of Light and the Goddess of Darkness in relation to the Ratzu family and given how I drew her, I think I nailed it hopefully.

Personality: Shrine is quite interesting in that she's powerful and knows she is, but even more than Siberia and even Sylvia, she seems to actually act like a divine being who knows very well she is. She gives the impression that she can do anything she wants and knows fully well that she's in control over any situation, she also is essentially one that if you ask her any question, she knows everything to a T and can make it so. Her confident and powerful nature is reflected on all of her descendants, which is why the Ratzus show so much confidence in their abilities and their pleasures, but as implied by the image, it all had to come from somewhere.

Power: Well, I think you can figure out what her powers are. However, for the sake of the story she is written for, where she appears as a mortal (Yeah...mortal...right.) She is a healer. She uses her powers to heal. In every spin off game where she's playable, she has above average stats in every category and basically is aa better in every way type of character. This may sound like a very unfair character when played as, but she is very challenging to unlock and while she IS tournament legal, she won't be allowed in most games' PvP. She's utimately meant to be a challenge for players who feel like they have a mastery over the game, but don't want to have to go through all of Story mode to reach the actual Goddesses.

Anyway, Shrine Ratzu is copyright to Kao Ninjaratzu.

Once I figure out her real name, I'll find the best time to reveal it. It starts with S or K, but I have no idea what it is at the moment....maybe it starts with W? I have no idea yet.

Trivia:

This is what happens when I have a dream about a character and feel like drawing them. I don't remember who this was originally meant to be, but it ended up becoming Shrine shortly after sketching.

The colors I wanted to kind of look washed out and grayish, but radiating with a purplish and greenish energy. It wasn't easy to pull off though and I still don't feel satisfied with the shading entirely. The image was taking 2.6 gigs of memory though just to display for some reason.

I was intending to draw Shrine in her mortal form where she appears in game, but ended up drawing her in her Goddess form instead. So wow, spoilers. It doesn't matter too much, she looks like this anyway.

In the story, she protrays herself as a Priestess. It's not until Kao describes her to Sylvia that anyone realizes who it is at all. During the Spin offs, Sylvia doesn't recognize her as her mother due to the nature of the spin offs and her name, but she claims that there's something familiar about her.

Shrine, like the other Spiritual Ratzus, exists in a plane above the other Goddesses like Siberia and Kiara. Which is why the Starmaninjians don't recognize her at all except for Soula. She comes from the same level of the multiverse that Sylvia, Solara, and Soula came from. (Zena and Dialacia come from an entirely different Universe and Mammary and Admiral both come from a universe parallel to Earth.)

Allegedly, Soula comes from the same Universe as Shrine, but she is not related to her in any way, but shares the omnipotent control over life and death, the two essences of existence.
