“I’m hungry”, Tay whispered while he opened his eyes before to close them
Still asleep, he turned his head to his right, and his nose touched something that felt cold and wet, he opened wide his eyes, and saw Izzy, sleeping next to him, he moves backward to be able to see her better, lying there, so peacefully, with a big smile in her mouth, bathed with little sun lights coming across the curtains of the room, Tay was astonished, Izzy looked as a beautiful little angel sleeping a few centimeters of him, if he could have see himself in a mirror in that moment, Tay would have see he was all blushed, his heart beat faster than before, and he places his right paw over it, pressing his chest because he felt it was gonna go out in any moment.
-‘Gosh, she’s so beautiful, more than before’.
He knew it, but now it was really clear that the most beautiful creature in planet is his twin sister, his sister, his girlfriend, his love, he couldn’t avoid to smile gently, he approached his head to hers, approaching his lips to hers, he was shaking due his nerves, and retracted, why was he nervous?, he has been kissing Izzy a lot since they confessed their love?, but this was the first time he was gonna steal her a kiss.
-‘C’mon Tay, be a man’, he approached again, trying to calm all what he could, he touched the tip of her lips with his, and finally giving her a gentle kiss, Izzy responded more as a reaction than for to be awake, she still was tired for all the night activity they had. Tay broke the kiss smiling
-“Keep dreaming, my love”, he said whispering, -‘I can’t believe I said that’, he though, he was really in love.
Tay covered Izzy with the sheets, he stepped out of the bed, stretching while yawns, he looked to the floor as looking something, he stopped his sight on her robe and the rest of his clothes, Tay grabbed them, naked, he approached to the door, he was going to grab the knob, when suddendly -‘Mom and dad’, he put his ear against the door, trying to hear something, he could hear nothing; he turned the knob and opened as silently as he could, he take out his nose sniffing, he could smell something coming from the kitchen downstairs.
He stepped out of Izzy’s room, covered only for this clothes he was carrying, but was going to move to the stairs, when suddenly –‘Tay, you’re naked!’, he heard Izzy’s voice in his head, he stopped, he looked at her, but she was still sleeping.
-‘What was that?’, he tough, he heard clearly the voice of Izzy in his head, but that voice was right, he couldn’t go to the kitchen naked.
Using the soft part of his feet, he moved towards his room, opening the door as silently as he could, he went inside, and closed his door also silently, he grabs his black shirt, and throws his clothes to a side of his bed, he puts his shirt, and open his closer, looking for his pajama pants. -“Now breakfast… but first I have to potty”
Now nothing why to worry about something, Tay goes out of his room, and into the bathroom. Tay sits in the toilet, and makes memory of all the events of the last night, he could remember with detail each moment, the happiness, the worries, the angry, the soft of Izzy’s fur, the soft of her lips, the taste of her kisses, the warm of her body, he couldn’t avoid to grin, -‘I hope we can have another date soon’.
After flush the toilet, Tay was walking to the door, when suddenly –‘Tay-lor, wash your paws’, again, Izzy’s voice sounded inside his head.
-“Awww, why is this happening to me?”, since he saw Izzy so beautiful a few minutes ago, the young dingo boy hasn’t stopped to think about her, maybe he was thinking too much about her that unconsciously, his actions were connected about thoughts of things that Izzy would be doing in those moments.
-“Aww, now I’ll have my sister yelling at me even in my thoughts?, besides, why do I have to wash my paws?”, and suddenly, he had in his mind an image of Izzy, naked in front of him, with her left arm across his chest, covering her breast and holding her right shoulder, while with her right hand she was covering her wawa ‘Come on Tay, you don’t want to touch my body with your dirty paws, are you?, I’m your girl now, you should be more careful about me’, said Izzy’s voice in his head, he shaked his head, and the image disappeared
– ‘Is true, I’m a man now, and a man must look for his woman’; and he washed his paws. -“Izzy, I’ll be the man you deserve to have”, he said whispering.
Tay walked out of the bathroom, and down the stairs, at the same time, Izzy went out of her bedroom, and moved toward the bathroom.
Tay went into the kitchen, where he saw her mom in front of the stove, wearing her pajama and a apron. Brenda was cooking some eggs and bacon, and Tay sit on the bar. -“’Morning mom”, -“morning, dear, are you hungry?”, she said serving a plate with an egg.
-“I feel as if I haven’t eat in months”, ‘maybe because all the sex we had, the crackers didn’t help to feel less hungry’- he thought.
-“I made some fried eggs and bacon”, and she put two strips of bacon next the eggs on the plate.
-“Great, mom”, Tay’s tummy grumble, he was hungrier what he though. Brenda leaved the plate to a side, she inserted her hand in the frontal pocket of the apron, she turned to his son in a smooth and almost prowling way.
-“But before breakfast”… she took off her cell from the pocket, and showed it to Tay, who looked at the phone, in it, Tay saw the picture of he and Izzy kissing that Izzy accidentally upload on FurFace, Tay was shocked, he felt he turned in stone in that moment, -‘She knows it-she knows it-she knows it’, is the only think Tay could think in that moment.
-“Tay, explain me what is the meaning of this photo”, Tay didn’t move, he felt the time was becoming slower.
-‘This is the end, this is the end, what I’m gonna do-what I’m gonna do, if Izzy where here…’, is right, each time they get in troubles, is Izzy who have to do something to solve the things, but she was not here in this moment, his precious angel was still sleeping upstairs, he was alone in this;
-‘It all depends of me this time, if I can’t get out of this in a credible way, how could I be the man that Izzy deserves?’.
Izzy went out of the bathroom, she sniffed the air, smelling the essence of the eggs and the bacon, her tummy mumbled,- ‘I didn’t know I was so hungry, knowing Tay, he’s surely down there’.
She walked down the stairs, but before she reached the floor, he could hear the voice of her mother, the sound of her voice was a mix of angry and worry –“Tay, tell me why you and Izzy kissed”.
When she heard that, she almost fells, but she grips the handle, the pressed her hearth with her free hand, while breath hardly, -‘Oh no, I forgot to erase the photo, this is over, all the happiness of yesterday have disappeared, we’ll never be together, I’ll be separated of Tay… separated from Tay, no, I couldn’t resist it, we has been together even before we was born, how could I have my life without my other half with me?’, she was feeling that she was tearing apart, and the world was falling grain per grain over her, she couldn’t think in anything else except a vision of Tay going away, away, away, and she was unable to reach it.
Izzy closed her eyes, she wanted to cry, she could felt how the tears was coming out of her eyes, but then, she heard Tay’s voice.
-“Cooties”, she opened her eyes wide;
-“Cooties?”, asked her mother, Izzy sat on the stairs, quietly.
While in the kitchen, -“What do you mean with cooties?”, asked Brenda.
-“You’ll see mom”- Tay started – “When we were in the transport to the movies, we saw Mrs. Tailfur…”
-“Talfur, dear”, Brenda rectify him.
-“Yes, she said that she wanted to sale Izzy to his marmalade grandson”
-“What?”, Brenda asked, seeing with doubt to his son; Izzy giggled, but covered her mouth with her paw, to now to let any sound escape, she sat in the stairs and keeps hearing.
-“To sale Izzy to his marmalade grandson?”, Brenda asked wanted to understand what Tay was saying.
-“That’s what I thought”-said Tay- “When she leaved, Izzy explained me that Mrs. Tailfur wanted to introduce her his grandson, who is a marmoset, for a date”
-“Ahhhh”, Brenda said understanding now to his son.
-“But when I thought about that, I felt sorry for the poor guy, after all, on dates what people do is giggling, smooching, hugging and kissing”- and Tay take out his tongue while shakes his head; -“That’s gross, when a girl kisses a boy, the girl infects him with cooties, everybody knows that!”. Brenda couldn’t avoid to laugh with the expressions and reasoning of her son.
In the stairs, Izzy was covering her mouth with both paws, unable to stop to giggle.-‘Oh Tay’-she though.
-“And what did you sister say?”
-“She said, TAY-LOR, don’t be dumb, girls can’t infect boys with cooties because cooties don’t exist, boys say that because they are afraid of girls!”,
Brenda was laughing louder, she take air, and sees Tay sternly, -“Well, but that doesn’t explains this”, she said while aims the photo in her cell with her finger.
-“When we arrived, I suggested Izzy that we should take some pictures of our first movie-out alone, and we used her cell phone, when one employee was helping us to take that picture, we were hugging when I told her –just keep your cooties away from me-, she got angered, she grabbed my cheek with her hand, making me turn to her, and then, SHE KISSED ME!, THAT HAS BEEN THE MOST GROSSING THING IZZY HAVE DONE TO ME!, SHE TRIED TO INFECT ME WITH COOTIES ON PURPOSE, WHO DOES THAT?!”
Brenda couldn’t stop laughing –“Ha ha ha, and… and… and what did you do then?”, she asked, trying to stop laughing.
–“I made a big snow ball…” – said Tay while used his hands to give an idea of the size of the ball –“and I started to eat it, while Izzy was yelling at me saying, Tay-Lor stop, you’ll get sick, and I told her, course I’m gonna be sick, and will be your fault, you infect me with cooties, so I’ll eat snow until be sure that those little bugs freeze before they can sick me, and I kept eating it while she was saying cooties don’t exist”
Brenda couldn’t stop laughing, and the tears begun to appear on her eyes – “Oh, Tay, ha ha ha ha ha”
On the stairs, Izzy was bend over her knees, covering her face with her paws, trying to hold her laugh, but it was a hard task, Tay described a situation that sounded perfectly as something that could have happened to them -‘All have…’ and she lift her head amazed –‘All have sense’, she couldn’t find a mistake in Tay’s argument, how was that possible?.
Her tummy grumble, she stand up, and rubbed her tummy with her right paw. -‘Well, I think is safe now to go to eat, I’m hungry’, the dingo girl though while she download the stairs.
Reaching the bottom of them, Izzy walked into the kitchen, where Brenda kept laughing while she was serving his plate to Tay -“good morning mum, hi Tay”
–“Good morning, sweet”- Brenda said.
-“Hi izzy”- Tay said while he was munching a piece of bacon.
-“Tay, don’t speak while you eat”, the dingo girl said, looking at him with a serious look”
Brenda, who calmed his laughts, served a plate with a pair of eggs and bacon to Izzy.
– “Here you have, dear”
-“Thank you mom, why were you laughing?”, she asked while she started to cut her eggs
-“Well, Tay was telling me what happened with this photo”, and she showed the photo of her and Tay kissing, Izzy remembered the happy moments that she and her brother had yesterday, she wanted to smile, but she knew she had to keep the appearance, or all Tay’s works was gonna be in vain, so she looked the photo as if were nothing special; –“Hmm, the things I have to do as Tay’s sister, now you see that cooties don’t exist?, you didn’t get any disease”
-“That’s because they freeze before they could do me something, now they’re toilet’s food”
-“Tay, don’t say things like that while we’re eating!”, Izzy replied to him.
-“Now-now, kids, finish your meal first, you can discuss later, but Izzy…”
Izzy introduced a piece of egg in her mouth, and looked at her mother –“You should be careful about what you do and what you post on FurFace, is not right you kiss your brother that way”.
Izzy felt a little angry, one of her activities that had recently become one of her favorites was kissing Tay, feeling his lips on hers, while their tongues played in a way so erotic that Izzy was starting to feel hot and blush, she tried to calm down herself –“But mom, you and dad kiss like that because you love each other, and even when he’s a pain in the neck sometimes, I love Tay, so what’s the difference?”
Brenda opened her eyes wide, she didn’t expect a question like that, -“Well, Izzy, is because your father and I are married, and you’re brothers”
-“But you also kiss us sometimes, because we’re family, I don’t see what makes a kiss different from other” Tay asked before to put the last of his breakfast in his mouth”
-“Well, that’s because… because…”, Brenda didn’t know how to explain that, how could she explain them that it was not right that they as brothers kissed that way?
“Mmm, something smells delicious”, said Jason while he stick out the hear from the frame of the kitchen’s entrance
-“Look, Mr. Snores finally woke up”- Brenda said giggling
-“What can I say, is so good to sleep in your own bed after so long, hi kids”
-“Hi daddy”, both twins said at the same time
Jason approached to Brenda, kissing her in her right cheek.
-“See?, dad kissed you, so what’s the big deal we kiss sometimes while we’re goofing around?”, Izzy gives him a steady look, they were almost out of the hook, why did he have to ruin it involving dad too?, what was he thinking?, -‘Sometimes I wish you though the things before to open your mouth’, Izzy though.
-“Huh?, what are you talking about?”, Jason asked his son.
Brenda grabbed her cell, and showed it to Jason.-“Look at this”
Jason took the phone, he saw the photo, and couldn’t avoid to giggle” –“Oh kids, you can be very weird sometimes”, he said, while he looked the rest of the photos Izzy uploaded in the same folder –“It looks you two had a funny night out”, Jason said while he sat at the other side of the bar table, Brenda sat next to him, with the plates of the breakfast for them served.
-“Yes, it was funny”, Izzy said while she stood up from her seat, she grabbed her dishes and Tay’s and place them in the dish washer. -“Thank you for the breakfast mom, now I must to fix my room”, said Izzy, who approached to Tay, and grabbed his paw, pulling him –“And you will help me”
-“WHY?!”, Tay yelled.
-“Because you also slept there last night, so part of the mess is yours too”, and both twins went out of the kitchen.
When they arrived to the stairs, –“What were you thinking?”, she asked whispering, while she looks Tay a little angry.
-“About what?, mom believed what I told her”
-“Yes, but why did you have to involve dad too?”, and they stopped on the stairs.
–“Listen Tay, if we are not careful, we could be separated, is that what you want?”.
Tay sees Izzy to the eyes, but then he avoids visual contact -“I…”.
Then, they heard a sob, and heard the voice of his dad coming from the kitchen.
–“What’s wrong, dear?”, Tay and Izzy stayed quiet, trying to hear what was happening in the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Brenda holds her cell phone, looking at the photo of Izzy and Tay kissing, while Jason place his hands on her shoulders –“Is just that I remembered the shock I felt when I saw this photo the first time, I was… scary”
-“Scary?, why?”
–“Because I started to imagine the problems our kids, and we could have, if they were starting an incestuous relationship, they would become in social outcasts, rejected for everyone who knows them for to have a forbidden relationship, and what will everyone say?, that their parents didn’t raise them as they should”, Brenda crossed her arms over the table, and placed her head between them.
Jason holds the cell phone, and sees the photo again -“Well, they looks really cute together”
And Brenda turns her head to look at him –“Yeah, they did”, she said while she remembered how cute Tay and Izzy looked in the night when she went to see them –“But if in a future that could turn in a love that is not just as siblings, what should…?”
–“Give them our support”
Brenda opened wide her eyes, while she straighten, looking at her husband –“What?, are you crazy?!”
-“Brenda, do you love our kids?”
-“What kind of question is that?, of course I love them”
-“And will you love them less if for some reason they decide that they want to be together, marry, have cub, etc. etc., etc.?”
Brenda place her left paw over her mouth, looking down, thinking, while Jason looks at her with a serious look –“Brenda”
-“No, of course I’ll still love them, bus is just that… that”
-“I know if something like that happens, will be hard for all of us”, he stands up, placing behind her, and placing her hands on her shoulders –“But more for them, they’ll need to know that someone is not against them, they’ll expect that we, as their parents, give them support”, and hugs Brenda from behind –“Or we could lose out children”
Brenda places her hand on his arms, -“Huh, I guess you’re right”
-“Also, I doubt we have to worry about that, they’re still too young for to know what love really is”.
On the stairs, Izzy and Tay are sit on them, still listening to their parents, -“Izzy cares a lot about Tay, but more in a motherly way than as her sister, what is a little funny”, then, Tay and Izzy look at each other, -“And Tay, well, Tay is Tay, all looks almost as a game for him, I doubt he can really understand how serious is to have a romantic relation with someone and not take it as a game”. Izzy looks Tay with a steady
–“And talking about games, I think we still have a little of time to play out favorite game”, said Jason while Izzy stands up and walks upstairs, Tay looks at her, but then he turns his head in direction to the kitchen
-“Jason, not now, the kids could hear us”
-“They will not if you try to keep your voice down”
Then Tay starts to hear the moans from her mom, Tay stands up and looks upstairs, then again in direction to the kitchen, upstairs, kitchen, upstairs, kitchen, then he walks upstairs, he reaches the second floot in time to see Izzy going inside her room, Izzy walks in pushing the door while she walks to her bed, but Tay stops the door before it closes, and goes inside Izzy’s room, closing the door behind him.
Tay sees Izzy laying face down on the still untidy bed, with her head on her pillow, and Tay can hear her sobbing. –“Izzy?”, and he walks closer to her, -“What’s wrong?”. And he sits in the bed next to her
–“Izzy?
Izzy rolls over her back, still keeping the pillow against her face, she sits, crossing her legs, and down the pillow, she looks Tay with a steady look, and have tears on her eyes –“Izzy, why are you crying?
-“Because what dad said have sense (sob)”, she cleaned her eyes, and looks Tay with a sad look –“Sometimes… no, many times I feel that you don’t take this relationship seriously”
–“What do you mean I don’t take it seriously?, don’t you remember how many times I have told you that I love you?”
-“But do you love me because who I am or for what we do?”
Tay looked Izzy as don’t understanding what she was talking about, and again, tears appeared in Izzy’s eyes
-“Tay, I love you, I really love you, but each time I want our time be romantic, it looks you only want to have sex with me”
-“I thought you like when we have sex”
-“I do, but I want more than just sex in the relationship with the boy I love, but If you don’t feel the same way, maybe…(sob)”, and she places both paws on her eyes, downing her head –“Maybe we should stop here and just be a normal couple of siblings” and she starts to cry with her face on her paws.
Tay looks at her worried, during this time, he always thought that he was showing Izzy the love she deserved, but he never considered that Izzy could be receiving it in a different way, and his behavior was not helping, he gave a deep sight, and turned, placing his paws on his knees.
-“If that’s what you want” Izzy sees Tay, who has his right paw towards her, as expecting Izzy gave him something, while he keep his head down and his eyes closed, -“Give me the turtle I gave you”
Izzy opened her eyes wide, and looked Tay scared –‘Is he really doing it?, is he really breaking with me?’,- her heart started to beat faster that never before, she never expected Tay could do this to her, she cleans her eyes with her paw, and looks Tay with a steady look –“Fine, if that’s what you want!”.
Izzy stands up, she opens one of the drawers of ther night table, taking the little turtle necklace Tay gave her yesterday, she approaches to Tay and gives it to him in an angry way, and turns her head to other side.
–“Now if you could just…” – she moved, but something was holding her paw, she looked Tay, who was still holding her paw, Tay stands up, moving to a side, still holding Izzy’s paw, he stands up, and gives Izzy a steady look that makes her amaze.
-“Why are you suddenly starting to doubt about my feelings about you?, only because dad said it?, dad can know a lot about me, but he doesn’t know all what is here”, he said, placing his left hand in his head.
-‘I doubt someone can’- Izzy though
-“And here”- Tay says while he places his left paw over his heart –“I love you, not because we have sex, I love you because you’re the other half of me, we’re twins after all, if there is someone who is the perfect wife for me, that is you, and of course, if someone is the perfect husband for you, that’s me!”
Izzy couldn’t hide her amaze for Tay’s words, she thought she was the only one thinking seriously about they getting married, but Tay was the first saying it clearly, they, as husband and wife.
-“After all”, Tay continued –“Nobody knows you better than me, for example, you move the strays of your hair from your face because you feel funny when they touch the fur from your face, the thing you fear the most is to be alone in the darkness, and when we had 4, you came to my room once asking me to sleep with me because you heard something, and the next morning we found that what scared you it was the sound of wind coming through your not so well closed window, and since then, each time I wake up during night, I go to sleep with you because I worry that you still feel scary, and I go to make you feel more secure”.
Izzy opened her eyes wide again in amaze, she had totally forgotten that event, Tay still remembered it?, and he wakes her during night because he’s worried about her?, it was so sweet that even before they started their new relationship, he were so protective about her.
-“I like to have sex with you because during that moment, is when I feel we’re more connected than before, and I don’t mean about we’re, really connected”- Izzy couldn’t avoid to giggle –“But we’re connected in all levels, and I feel that we’re one, and that there’s no way we can be separated, that’s why I act so anxious, because I don’t want to be separated from you”
Izzy was all red, she accused Tay for not to take in count her emotions, but now she also sees that she was not also taking in count Tay’s feeling, his real feelings, she was feeling bad for doubting Tay’s love for her. Tay inclines, holding over his left knee and his right foot, then he places his left paw over Izzy’s paw, covering with both paws, she looks at him a little amazed, while he looks at her eyes with a firm look.
-“When I gave you this, I told you this means you’re my secret girlfriend and that I love you, I wasn’t joking about that, but if you need to feel more secure that I love you because you’re the most important person for me, now I want to do a more formal vow about it… Izzy, this is my promise to you”- and looks her to her eyes, both are blushed –“There will not be someone else, I’ll always hold your paw, when you need me, I’ll be at your side, because you and I, are one now, I love you now and ever”.
Izzy placed her right paw over her mouth, and tears appeared on her eyes, Tay then stands up. –“Izzy, are you ok?”
-“Tay, I…”, she then kisses her, amazing the young dingo boy, Tay closes her eyes, and places his left paw on Izzy’s right cheek, Izzy pulls him towards her, making both falls over Izzy’s bed, where they keep kissing, until finally they break the kiss.
-“Tay, you don’t know how happy you have made me”
-Will you doubt again from my love?”
-“Never”- and they kiss again, but they break the kiss because Izzy starts giggling, and Tay looks at her with doubt.
-“What happen?”
-“Sorry, but I just noticed this was our first serious discussion as couple”
-“The first?, does that mean there will be more?”
-“Surely, but nothing that can broke our special link”
Both looks at the paws, and they open them, seeing the necklace of the turtle, Tay grabs it, and place it in Izzy’s neck, this time looping it right.
Minutes later, Tay and Izzy was lifting the mess in her room.
-“I still think is unfair I have to help you with all this mess”
-“You also slept here, and also, you said it, you’re my husband, and the husband must share responsibilities with his wife”
-“Maybe I should re-think this then”
-“Don’t dare to…”
-“I was kidding”, he says sticking his tongue out, making Izzy giggles, then, the alarm of a message sounds in Izzy’s cell phone, she grabs it, she opens it, and smiles.
-“Who is?”
-“Is Jules, she says: Hi lovebirds, did you wake up already?, or all your night activity leaved you without energy?”
Izzy couldn’t avoid smile, and Tay hugs her from behind.
-“You know?, mom was wrong, not all people will be against our relationship”
-“Yes, and that’s a relief”.
