Here we have a young(er) Kingsley from the little known PS1 game Kingsley's Adventure, receiving his very first wooden sword & shield from his father before he, as the game puts it, departed from the scene.
This is easily one of the cutest games I have ever played and I recommend you to check it out if you can get your hands on a copy!
The design of the father is based on some concept art by the games art designer. The character doesnt make an appearance in the game and I have no idea what his role would have been, but I like to think he could be the missing father.
