May I introduce to you a new character of mine the Australian Shepherd German Shepherd mix Jackson. A canine with a dark past and a heart of gold. I created him for a comic I'm planning to start up after I get used to drawing him a bit more.
As for the piece itself I enjoyed doing it it was my first real pin up. I feel like I've really improved with my shading and anatomy based on this pic in comparison to past work. With this I tried a few new tricks though mostly I worked on sharpening the ones I already had. My biggest challenge with this was the pose itself though I'd say it came out pretty well.
