Character Sheet for Seishin Shiromori
Character Description
Seishin Shiromori is the youngest of two children. His older brother, Seishin Kuromori, is two years older than him. The two were fathered by a manga artist who works very long hours, but has a gentle and loving heart. When he first met the brother's mother, she was a happy and energetic woman, albeit incredibly opinionated and stubborn. He fell in love with her, proposed, and they married shortly after she left high school.
The brothers' mother wasn't able to get into college, so she had to take a salary job with long hours. She found solace, after some time, in drinking. As she began to drink it became a habit, and that habit became an addiction. It was her escape from reality, and it changed who she was entirely. Shortly after Shiro was born, their father left. He couldn't handle her anymore, not with what she had become.
Without anyone else to vent her frustrations on she started blaming Kuromori for being the reason their father left, and beat him relentlessly. As a result he became very shy and introverted. He has absolutely no self confidence and no ability to deal with conflict. Despite the fact his mother beats him, he loves her dearly and believes that it is his and Shiro's fault that their father left.
When Shiro became older, he recognized that his mother wasn't like other mothers. He also recognized that his brother was not like other big brothers. He was weak, incapable of standing up for himself, and incapable of standing up for Shiro. Shiro's opinion of the world became rather jaded at a young age, and he decided that he would take on the position of big brother.
As the result of stepping between his mother and his brother, he has endured a lot of injuries, cuts, burns, and bruises. This all started when he was around four, so now at the age of six he is rather tough and weathers pain much better than any child his age should.
He is incredibly distrustful of adults and is very forward. He hates any sort of authority, and lashes out against anyone that insults him or his brother. He usually ends up fighting kids, a way of venting his frustration, and as a result has no friends.
When his mother is at work and he's not in school he walks around the neighborhood. There is a shrine just up the hill from their shabby apartment building that has a lot of interesting bugs that he likes to catch and examine. He enjoys nature, and he enjoys being away from people since he's only ever known harm from everyone he's ever met, even if a good deal of it was caused by his own way of interacting with the world.
Shiro is, unfortunately, not very intelligent. He takes most things very literally which is one of the reason he is constantly in conflict with others. People make fun of him for being stupid, or for being so bold despite his age. He holds in his tears though, and never displays that he's upset. The only emotions he ever displays are his boldness and his anger.
Shiro's only hero is Kendaman. The reason that Kendaman is his hero is because he, as a man, wears pink. He remembered being told at a relatively young age that men didn't wear it. As a result he saw Kendaman as someone who was apart from others. He saw Kendaman as someone who didn't fit into society's expectations, just like himself.

Body
Shiro is very thin because he's afraid of becoming "fat" like his brother, so he eats very little. Since he is incredibly physically active that keeps him smaller than average.
Clothing
Shiro enjoys t-shirts and shorts and only wears school uniform because he has to.
