(2007) One of the main characters from Obsolete Weapons, a science fiction story I wrote for NaNoWriMo 2004. I'd been wanting to attempt a drawing of this foxy freelance freighter captain and engineer for a while now, but hadn't previously had the guts. I guess staying up too late will do that to you. As well as making you attempt your first ever even remotely canine figure in a goofy position at a weird angle that ensures you will never find any remotely applicable reference art for her. If I were a well-behaved and properly schooled artist I would have started with something simpler, after doing some character sketches to get down her form and expressions and whatnot. But I'm me. The other kind of artist. I'm pretty happy with how I got her to turn out anyway.
