Being on the border of two counties in the UK I get the local radio stations that don't play 5 songs for the whole day so I get some great music from the radio! Check out Jack FM, not sure if it'll work but their radio station is on their website and they don't repeat a song in the work day which is sometimes good sometimes bad.
They play classics like Valerie, All Along the Watchtower and Band on the Run Bands such as Rolling Stones, Blondie, Aerosmith, Kiss, Elvis, Blur, Fatboy Slim, U2... Tons of quality music (least in my eyes :p)
So much better than all this top of the charts rubbish that gets played to death everywhere else!

Clear Channel owns all of our radio stations. We don't even have a rock station anymore; it was replaced with sports radio >.> We basically have pop in its various forms on every station. One saving grace is that we have one of the 9 remaining Jazz stations in the country, and then WKNO which has NPR and classical music.
