You know this is kind of an interesting picture. If I had to add a comment about only this image I would say that someone was taking a picture of girl and she didn't want it taken so she took a swing at them and this is the camera going off as it hits the ground.
That would be my explanation of why it is out of focuses and why the boy in the background is racing to his friends side having just witnessed the altercation.

Well not really, it's mainly to make it look like a camera yes but one of those anime like shots :3 But i think he's surprized she waited for him for school X3 Though yours seem to have more sense somehow >_>;
