While doing the spirals in Flurry's mane here I realised that two nodes per cycle was too poor of a fit and four nodes per cycle was overkill, so I settled for three nodes per cycle. The resulting "tripod" (when viewed with the path tool) reminded me of the Burj Khalifa, hence the name.
