It was looking to be a good day for Dinky.  She spent the last few hours on a playdate with her "boyfriend"  Her mother's title for him, not hers. Dinky swears to heck and back that Pip is stupid and is only playing with him as a favor.  Well, until she's actually together with him.  Then he's suddenly the coolest.

And he was even going to be spending the night.  As the night was winding down, it was suggested that they watch a movie, and wouldn't you know it, her mom picked out the lamest, most stupidest movie EVER.

No matter how many times Derpy claimed she liked the movie, that was in the past.  I mean, Frozen was soooooooo one week ago.  Now it's all about Captain Equestria.  I mean, that's what Pip likes, so why shouldn't she like it too?  That didn't stop her mom from pointing out all of her supposed favorite parts when they came up though.

While the movie continued to play, Dinky began getting more and more bored, sliding further and further down in her seat as she did.  Which turned out to be quite the boon for Pip.  While he wasn't interested in Frozen at all, he did manage to find something worth watching.  Not so subtly I may add.
