Well, this only took three years or so in the making... so long in fact that I can't recall where I got the template for this to properly credit it. Sorry, but hey, least I'm not taking credit for it myself. I wish I could say I did this for the reveal of Sun/Moon, but I can't. I started on this a long, LONG time ago and kept getting side tracked from it, but hey with the arrival of Gen 7 it put it back into mind and it forced me to finally finish it!

The real reason I did this was because for the longest time I've never been able to weed out what my favorite Pokemon were. In more recent years I've gained a very definite answer for some, but as a whole I'm still very indecisive when it comes to my favorites, especially when you go further back in Gen 1 & 2. Eventually I happened upon this char and I felt it was the best way to go about it, figuring out my favorite per type and generation... and even then it wasn't easy! In some cases I had to really sit and think out who of what type I liked more. There were a lot that tied or just got shy of making the cut... then they were other gens that had such lackluster Pokemon that no matter how hard I tried I couldn't even begin to like a single option out of the ones offered for that type (that being where the MissingNo. come into play)

Of course this was made before Sun/Moon, so no Gen 7's included but I will get around to that once I've had more time to acclimate myself to them. It's still a little too fresh for me to know, but it'll definitely be easier rounding down just one game as opposed to 6! So anyway, enjoy it.

Gen 1- (most of Gen 1 I like, even if they're not solid favorites, I like them all pretty well enough to use and enjoy them so there's a lot of ties/honorable mentions and ones that otherwise make the cut, I just didn't draw them out)
Snorlax(honorable mentions to Meowth, Lickitung and Ditto)
Dordrio(honoroable mention to Farfetch'd and Golbat)
Exeggutor
Magmar
Poliwrath (honorable mentions to the Squirtle family)
Electrode
Hypno
Hitmonchan & Hitmonlee (though I honestly like all the Fighting types in Gen 1)
Graveler
Dugtrio (honorable mention to Marowak)
Pinsir*shiny*
Muk
Jynx
---
Magneton
Gengar
Dragonair
Mr. Mime

Gen 2-
Aipom
Murkrow
Bayleef
Octillery
Elekid
Xatu
Tyrogue (I guess I just REALLY like the Hitmon-family... well besides top, but who really does? XD)
Sudowoodo*shiny*
Quagsire
Shuckle*shiny*
Spinarak
Sneasel
Tyranitar (honestly ALL the original Dark types were good, so really I could interchange this with any of them)
Forretress (same as with the Darks, but since Bug was a tie between Shuckle and Pineco I used Forretress to avoid a tie)
Misdreavus (who the hell else would it be?)
Mega Ampharos (I know it's cheating using a Mega but Kindra sucks and... dat hair~)
Togetic

Gen 3- (this one started to get more difficult to find ones I really liked)
Exploud (honorable mention to Zangoose and Castform)
Pelipper
Cacturne*shiny* and Shiftry
Torkoal
Sharpedo*shiny* and Ludicolo
---
Solrock
Medicham
Lunatone (I know it's cheaping out to use both for Psychic and Rock, but all the other options sucked to me)
Camerupt*shiny*
Shedinja
Roselia*shiny*
Snorunt (honorable mention to Glalie)
Sableye
Registeel
Banette and Dusclops
Flygon
Mawile

Gen 4- (this is where it got real tough. I still feel Diamond/Pearl was the worst Pokemon generation and my inability to choose many I even liked shows that)
Purugly
---
Tangrowth(because I really wanted to put Tangela n Gen 1, but this gave Gen 4 some reason to exist)
Heat Rotom
Mantyke(again, wanted to put Mantine in Gen 2; works well enough here)
Rotom (yeah I know I used the same one twice technically. Gen 4 sucked)
---
Toxicroak
Probopass(more or less the same as others, I like Nosepass)
---
---
Drapion
Froslass
Spiritomb
---
Drifblim (even then he's meh to me, I just can't deny Ghost-types... well... usually)
---
---

Gen 5- (Black/White will always remain a fluke for me. I had given up on the series as a whole, but I gave it a shot and I had to admit it's extremely hit or miss. When it hits, it hits hard and is really good... but when it missed, it was really off the mark. This is pretty much the ONLY Pokemon I even remotely liked from this gen, those some I do really love)
---
---
Serperior
Chandelure
Jellicent*shiny* (only like ironically because of resemblance to Mr. Pringles)
Eelektross
Zen Mode Darmanitan (is that cheating? It's probably cheating)
Scrafty
Crustle
Krookodile
Accelgor
Garbodor (again purely in an ironic sense. I can't think of a better unintentional allegory for the later installments of the Pokemon series that an over full and exploding trashbag that has become a sentient monster XD)
Vanilluxe (...this is not ironic... I actually like... fight me)
Bisharp
Escavalier
Cofagrigius
Druddigon
Whimsicott*shiny* (eh, I needed a Fairy option. He's kinda cute)

Gen 6- (did a good job in reviving my faith in the series. Most of the new Pokemon felt really solid and seemed like they were back on track so this one was a lot easier)
Furfrou*shiny Star cut*
Hawlucha*shiny*
Trevenant*shiny*
Braixen*shiny*
Greninja*shiny*
---
Meowstic
Pangoro
Diancie
---
Spewpa
Dragalge*shiny*
Aurorus*shiny*
Malamar
Aegislash*shiny*
Gourgeist
Goodra
Sylveon*shiny*

I'll update all the individual pictures at some point~

Great work! Must have taken you pretty long to create that.
