Because a great deal of us think Fangmeyer is male and.... possibly one of Gazelle's dancers (explaining the eyes). I think the Wiki for Zootopia is way off on it, because we never heard or saw Fangmeyer speak in the movie doesn't mean he can't be a he, therefore it's gay af ;)
