Over 300 years have passed since Princess Twilight Sparkle took her place on the throne alongside Celestia and Luna. The races of Earth have forged their own alliances and rivalries throughout the solar system, from Mercury to Pluto bright dots of civilization twinkle, only outshined by the stars themselves.
Earth is dominated by sprawling empires, the remaining havens of nature and neutrality jealously guarded in the midst of a rigid power struggle between Equestria and the upstart Gryphon Federation. The homeland of the Zebras lies under deadly, corrupting mist from Tartarus itself. Dragons at long last have a land of their own after nearly facing extinction. Changelings scheme inside every organization, every government. The elements of harmony are praised as great heroes long after passing on, this world quite different from the one they’d saved time and time again.
Those who dare chart the enormity of the void find a knife behind every smile, or a helping hoof when least expected. The final frontier has no borders, no compass, and no limits. It is an indifferent deity whose pilgrims find refuge and hardship in equal measure, but the treasures it rewards true believers cannot be bought with anything less than courage, faith, and friendship.
