Character Description
Kora is a hippie type living off the forest. She does everything on a slow pace but she does work hard. She's in harmony with nature even if she has to trap animals to live. To her the forest has all she needs and thinks city life is one big distraction that has drawn all her friends and family away. She's fond of kids but parents are afraid of her. Kora would be lonely if it wasn't for her boyfriend who lives nearby who she visits on a regular basis. She could be a considerable ally when venturing in the wild but it might be difficult to convince her to take interest in current events.
Personality
Kora has simple pleasures and really enjoys her forest home. She's not interested in the hustle and bustle of city life and dislikes the whole idea of it. She's pretty content in herself and as she says she can see that city folk have a lot of issues. She's not too clever or super social but in her words she's stable. She loves kids even though most parents would likely see her teeth and run a mile. Calm but not necessarily boring or socially awkward she does things on a slow pace and has a rather relaxed attitude to major issues. That doesn't translate to laziness however as she is a hard worker when she needs to be but having only herself to look after she has a lot of spare time to herself. She loves to lie in the sun and wander around foraging or setting animal traps and reaping the rewards. That doesn't mean she doesn't respect nature however and she's fairly friendly with all the creatures of nature outside of eating to survive.
Likes/Dislikes
likes her home and visiting her boyfriend, dislikes the fact her people left their ancestral home and the fact that the city gets slightly closer every day.
Background/History
Kora's people have lived in West Diegol Forest for many generations but as the town grew nearby more and more have adopted a modern lifestyle and abandoned their ancestral home. Kora is the only one left but her boyfriend Eco lives nearby. There aren't that many interesting events in the forest at least in terms of the bigger picture but it's enough to keep Kora entertained.
Relatives/Family
Kora's family used to live around West Diegol Forest but over time one by one moved away. Some of her relatives live in town but most don't live in the Diegoltun area including her immediate family.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
Kora is covered in green scales with brown on her neck, under her chin, chest, belly and under her tail. She has a long mussel and tail and has brown triangular plates running from the top of her head down her back and to the tip of her tail. She also has red eyes.
Clothing
she wears a white crop top and hot pants combo and brown leather gloves and boots.
Accessories
Kora rarely needs to carry any items. When she does she has a white drawstring bag she carries over her shoulder.
