Here's the jolly ole polar bear every cub who hasn't been naughty all year looks forward to having drop by on Christmas eve.
Some presents in Santa Bear's big, green sac are the latest toys and video games donated by various manufactures, and some are old fashion toys which were built by various raccoons, opossums, squirrels, porcupines, foxes and other animals who work in Santa Bear's toy shop.

In my fan-fic "Emperors of the North" Santa's palace which Perry never saw (he did not know just where and how to look), Santa makes all the toys, and uses special spatial magic to stow them all into one bag. Then he uses special temporal magic to s l o w time almost to a total stop - silent night... Now he can make all stops in one night. He also dons his beard (he wears a short beard but , over it, the big beard at Christmas) .He also does NOT make war toys.

In the fan-fic, demons try to destroy him, and almost succeed, BUT he gets his power from all the little boys & girls who believe in him, so he revived. (I recall 2 other attempts to kill Santa, one where Nero is released from Hell to assassinate him, and the other is engineered by the Pumpkin King. ). Once the demons are all eradicated ...

His wife is Befana and she is in charge of the Mediteranean operations. Many years ago, the Three Kings stopped at her house,and getting directions to the Child, invited her to come with them. She said she'd join them on their way back, as she had chores to do. They, however, went back by another route: they found the wicked king Herod wished to kill the Child, and they thus avoided going near his castle, so he never found how to get to the Child.

Befana waited long and today, she is married to Santa Claus ,in charge of the Mediterranean branch ....
