Monsters and Kaiju

On a distant planet a research lab was abandoned along with all the experiments being conducted there. One such experiment was leading to the creation of a new race. The Adams and Eves of this race took the research facility as their home and began a new. Several generations later they've adapted to their environments and learn many skills. they learn to craft weapons and domesticate some of the wildlife. A large beast from the jungle that surrounds the research lab will serve as dinner for the tribe.

I couldn't really think of what to draw at first, however while going thru my older drawings i came across these guys and decided to sketch something out around them and thus this came to be. enjoy!

At first I thought the new race was responsible for the over-sized footprints .
August Derleth wrote in a short story about the first humans hiding in caves (cold,dark,damp) from monsters leaving footprints 10 feet wide (do species that big have the right to survive, or should they be exterminated ?)
