Awiti is a young Tokaya Ge'Za shaman and the wife of prince Ther'Os Wacha of the Ahkis clan. She was saved by the Abunese during the second Abunese-Zonizan war. She's born with a gift given by the spirits (i.e. she suffers of epilepsy) that let her see visions without drinking the Eter, the sacred potion of the Ge'Za shamans. Thanks to her powers, the Zonizans settled in the camp where her and her tribe lived during the war, but after she told a wrong prediction, the Zonizans took revenge by killing all the tribesmen, setting the camp on fire, while she was beaten, raped and the tip of her tail cut, leaving her for dead.
The Abunese army made its way towards the camp, pushing the remaning Zonizans away, and she was found by prince Ther'Os, agonizing. She was taken to the Abunese camp, where her wounds were treated and she got attached to the Abunese prince. After the war, she was taken at the Royal palace and kept as a hostage by Kaliendra, and in that period, she confessed her feelings towards Ther'Os. One year later, the two married and she gave birth to a daughter.
