heheh..the explanation is just starting, I did my best when trying to explain this, but is complicated, and i'm really scared that something will miss on the translation.. or i'm not explaining well enough, so if there's an urgent suggestion for change the speech, please let me know... the next 2 pages will continue explaining about the disease and will help to understand the reason behind past events.

On the second panel, I think it should be "It is an uncommon viral illness", and in the last panel, "Sometimes though".

only change i can recommend is changing "kid" to "child" in the bottom panel on the second left paragraph
kid makes it sound less scientific which I'm sure is what the father is being in this page

Well, unless there's another mutation involved, the chance of a woman getting the disease, assuming it's a recessive trait on the X-Chromosome, is possible if both X's carry the mutation, which will occur if they are a child of an affected male and a female who carries at least one mutated X chromosome. In the case of the mother: the son DEFINITELY has it, and the daughter has it unless the father is definitely unaffected. Hmmm... unpleasant thoughts!

Oh, I would just say "a pair of X chromosomes" rather than "an identical pair", since that implies they are exactly the same, which logically cannot be the case if only one of the two carries the trait.

Hmm, For this page, i would have left out the virus part. Just having a disorder that is X chromosome related is perfect enough explanation, as there are actual diseases out there that are the result of this... unless you're talking about the disorder, XMEN which makes mainly males affected with the Epstein-Barr Virus. And have it where Angel and his lat mother develop a Lymphoma from it.

Me hizo acordar a la explicación del Daltonismo, en donde el gen defectuoso se encuentra en el cromosoma X.
Un hombre (XY) padecerá Daltonismo si su cromosoma X es defectuoso.
Pero una mujer (XX) padecerá Daltonismo sólo si ambos cromosomas X son defectuosos. En el caso de que sólo uno sea defectuoso el otro entra en acción y lo contrarresta.
Debido a ésto la cantidad de mujeres que padecen Daltonismo en comparación con los hombres es tan baja que existe la creencia errónea de que el Daltonismo sólo afecta a los hombres.

Claro que el Daltonismo es más una mutación genética que una enfermedad, pero bueno, no pude dejar pasar la oportunidad para hacer un comentario irrelevante refregando mi conocimiento :P , con la excepción de que la enfermedad descrita es, en teoría, plausible.

this is just beyond genius level: not only did you reached a level of plot dept rarely found in such an apparently cutely-drawn (and neatly enough too for teh matter) comic style,you shown STAGGERING PROWESS into a mind-jamming matter like GENETICS

now that is SCARY genious! (and ironically Genes and Genious come from teh same root x3)
