Essentially, yes! A very thorough one, allowing you to set the cabinet's dip switches and all the other possible settings. It's just much more convenient than dragging a bunch of equipment out to someone who has the cabinet, renting a bit of their time (or using your own cabinet should you have one) and setting up a huge network of cables and adapters to run a video feed to a PC screen to record.

Although some quick research has told me that this is probably a bad decision, watching this LP has made me decide to find a copy of the 2010 Splatterhouse reboot. I'm the kind of person that unironically enjoys bad games, so I feel like even if it's absolute crap, I'll at least get a laugh out of it. So thanks for that!
