Exalted 3E is out!* (*for people who Kickstarted it), and it's time to get the (long) delayed "Illustrate Every Exalted Charm Iron Artist Challenge" off the ground!
Since I did all of 2nd Edition's Archery Charms before 3E was announced, I figured instead of doing Archery -again-, I'd move on to the next Charm set: Athletics.
However, Exalted 3E doesn't have the Charm Trees charted out in the book due to the already insanely high page count. So I had to throw one together myself to see how they flowed and what order I should try illustrating them in.
And since I'd sketched the tree out, why not try to pretty it up and make it look all nice and proper?
And why not do some of those design ideas I had, where the shape of the box told you about the Charm's type and essence/ability minimums? And why not throw a few sketches along the edges that I could replace with actual Charm illustrations once I'd done them?
So that's how I wasted a day or so.
