For the next couple of days things were back to normal.
Junior was back to his old self, happy and playful.
When Bob asked him about the last month, Junior would talk about some nightmares he used to have. Bob didn’t have the heart to tell the boy how real they were.
Bob made sure to spend most of his time with his son; after all, Junior was still sad about Sylvia abandoning them, especially since she wouldn’t even answer phone calls from her kid.
Now they got to play ball together, and watch sports.
For the first time in his life, Bob got to spend time with his kid, and he was learning what a sweet wonderful boy he was.
