I have a few ways of stopping it from getting that far. My uniform pants and shoes might contain it all before it gets to the ground. Or, I could pull my tail forward and let it absorb most of it. Or, I could just try to catch it all in my mitt or my hat! On second thought, I think some puddles are unavoidable with me.
