Character info and background.

Bowen is one of the group’s front line fighters. He wields a long sword and kite shield, but carries a small crossbow with him as well for when extra range is needed. While considered one of the “older” members of the team, he will put many of the “young ones” in thier place as he is quite skilled with his blade and knows quite a bit about the world as a whole.

Bowen used to be a weapons trainer, teaching noble youth how to fight. He worked alongside Gustave for many years before they went thier separate ways. While Gustave went off to fight in a war, Bowen preferred to leave Paladia under a request by a noble house to teach thier son the art of combat. However, things did not go as planned for Bowen as he found the invitation to be little more than a trap. Being one of the best teachers in Paladia, he and several others had been targeted by enemy forces in a plan to remove the private teachers from Paladia before they could be employed to teach thier soldiers. Bowen remained locked away for years before he was finally rescued by Gustave and Spirit Song. Eager to repay them, he happily joined with Gustave when asked to join thier growing band of knights.
