"You know, my big purple dragon boyfriend. Today is a very special day." Felicia smiled at Dancer as they both walked down the street. Dancer knew what day it was but decided to play oblivious. "It is? Well, it's Saturday. I guess that's a special day of the week. It only comes once every seven days." Felicia didn't seem amused by this and hinted again. "Stop being a brat. There is something special about this Saturday, surely you remember?" Dancer looked thoughtfully for a moment then replied: "Aah! I remember!" The cat demon looked at him and smiled, eager for the response from the larger purple dragon. "It's an anniversary!" he said. He watched as her smile got bigger before continuing. "It's the yearly anniversary of the second weekend in September!"
Felicia's Expression faded. Dancer saw this and tried to lighten up her mood. He scruffed up her hair between her horns and laughed. "Don't worry, I was only joking. Of course I know what today is." The cat looked back up to him with sad eyes before asking "Then what day is it really?" Dancer took a knee in front of her and reached into his back pocket. He had a surprise of his own for their three year anniversary and it was about time to show her. "It's the day I ask you to be my girl." His paw came back around with a small velvet lined box. He expertly pried the top from the bottom with one motion, revealing a blue sapphire engagement ring. "So how about it?"
The red stripes on all of felicia's body turned even brighter red as she was caught off guard. "You... You really mean it?" She stuttered after a moment. "Well, why wouldn't I? You seem attracted to me, and I enjoy being around you so why not? Silver has Ken, Royal has Fursat, Jamie has Tyro. That leaves me and you to be together if you would like." "I would! I would gladly!" The demon cat chimed. "I'll make sure you always stay happy with me!" She continued as Dancer put the ring on her finger. Since every crew member of RD Labs has every measurement on file, Dancer knew exactly the right size to get her and the ring fit perfectly.
Unfortunately at that same moment the two were enjoying their heartfelt moment, Sarah had swooped down from the sky to see what was going on. As she landed and said her hello Felicia spiraled around and her whole demeanor changed. She lunged forward and latched her claws and teeth into Sarah's leg. Unfortunately for her, Sarah's scales didn't budge. "Who is this little ankle biter?" Sarah asked Dancer. "She's my girl, we just got engaged." Dancer smiled, still happy. "Ok, then why is she breaking her teeth on my thigh?" Sarah asked again, trying to gently unlatch the feline. Dancer just shrugged "I don't know. One minute she was all happy, the next she is on you like a fungus. Maybe she just doesn't like easterns?"
