---------------------- All of us at CWDTP were hopeful to provide handouts to as many people as possible about our cause. The VIPs were no exception.
What you see here was Matthew Palumbo's first meetup with a VIP, Ms. Amy Keating Rogers. It was our hope to have her speak at our panel this year on behalf of a mother who is positively raising a child with special needs. However, this did not happen. She was most definitely there in spirit, though.
How do we know she has a child with special needs? The answer somes from the following bit of information.
This is both versions of the episode from Season 2, "The Last Roundup". The first part shows what originally aired with the second part showing what now airs today on TV, NetFlix, and any DVD, with the exception of the DVD entitled "The Friendship Express".
------------------------------ Matthew's time with Amy was spent complimenting her on how she dealt with the situation regarding "The Last Roundup" while discussing how he gathered she was a great mother to a son who had much potential despite his particular limitations. It was for this reason that Matthew chose the image done by Ari of Snowdrop and Primrose of "Snowdrop" for her to sign. Matthew explained, "The image shows how the mom is aiding her blind daughter in understanding the world through explaining what she's feeling."
It's amazing how far good parenting can go towards aiding those children born with special needs.
