I wanted to thank those of you who joined me for this series. It was especially hard on myself completing it. I faced a lot of doubt, battled depression, and as always my persistent health complications. If you enjoyed what you read and felt for my work, please consider perhaps throwing a penny or two my way? A lot of my work is and will continue to remain free, but every little thing helps me more than you could ever imagine.
This makes me so happy. Stories about love always tend to do that. You know, it's funny, even before I learned the story about the man and the woman was autobiographical, I had a sense that Zee was female, which stands at odds with your other self-contained stories about guys falling in love with Strange Things, where I usually felt that the Thing was male, like with the robot for example. I don't know that I've felt one of them was female since Nicky in A Bat Followed Me Home.
Either way, lovely story, and fantastic work on the wording and visuals. You should be proud. n_n

well in actuality, Trenikes have no defined gender. They reproduce in a rather...strange way. Point being, Zee identified with a female in the story however they are never referred to in that context of gender outside the internal story; and as the character made mention " some fiction does ease the truth in the words. "
Hey thanks for joining in the experience and speaking your mind!
