Treasure Trap is a sneaky kind of ghost, they enjoy hiding throughout dungeons and the like, mostly in rooms filled with gold. they wait for unsuspecting adventurers. When their lids are opened, they spring out, grab the adventurer and pull them inside. rumors about what happens to these heroes circulate since they are never seen again. one such rumor is that the treasure trap turns the captured hero into gold to add to their collection. so remember if you are exploring an ancient castle and you come across a room of gold, be weary for the treasure trap.
so this is another monster idea to go towards the idea that I brought up in the Gun Metal Dragon
drawing. Treasure traps would be another scan-able monster that could be used in the fighter mode, or dungeon mode, it would all depend on what option the remote would be set to. despite having really no legs, Treasure trap would be able to fight, just wouldn't be able to jump very well.
I did state the crafty monsters but could not remember the mindless crawling ones and was NOT up to stopping in the middle of a thought to look up the trivia.
The yellow heaps look like the jellies & molds that squirm around as vegetation in these D&D passages. The red artifact looks like you are NOT supposed to even touch it.

Uh, some comment disappeared. My house is haunted and it may be doing things in my laptop. I made a comment about mimics, Intellect-Devourers, Dopplegangers, MindFlayers, and other crafty monsters.
I don't play D&D games, but I do have two Tsr books, one on gods, the other on monsters *. They helped me decide on D&D games. One risks getting subsumed into a character and carrying on as him/her in real life.
* By monster, Tsr means ANY creature you encounter, even humans going to the market or country fair.
