Well, decided to continue with a second round of Apprentice candidates. Still have the other ones on call if I make a decision, but I like to keep my options open.

Candidate #5, Skye Eldrich... SKYE?! What the Hell are you doing here? No, I don't trust you with mind control spells, you hypno-fetishist Fennec. Now git!

Candidate #6, Hope Dawnchild (*groan*)... ...Okay, one of -those-. Not a big fan of hippies under most circumstances, not sure if I want to deal with teaching one "nature magic". Not to mention she already looked like she was in a different "State of Perception" if you know what I mean.

Candidate #7, Morganna. ...Okay, I thought Sonya the Goth Possum was something, but clearly I did not anticipate a Goth Butterfly. Unlike Sonya, she seems far less rebellious in mindset, and far more gloomy. I'm sure there's a story behind that, but at the very least she's calmer then the Possum.

Candidate #8, Niles Vorten. Intelligent, comes with some good references from a few labs he worked in as a research assistant, so that's a plus. Comes off as very cynical, but I think I can work with that.
