Part 2 of 3 of a commission for flafty in which I was tasked to redesign the armor of each character to fit their personality and fighting style.
Here the design takes advantage of aspects of who she is as a character: She wants to be the center of attention, is not afraid to show her body and has electrical powers.
This armor is composed of an alloy highly resistant and flexible that contains room temperature superconductors. These layered plates use quantum locking to remain in place, these stay "locked" millimeters away from her body using magnetic field pinning. While she herself can't generate magnetic field she applies a gel to her body where the armor needs to be and said gel contains nanites that transform her bioelectrical field into a magnetic field allowing for the plates to lock into place. I decided to experiment with this design so it was different and complex enough and it would not look as yet another "battle bikini" I've seen many other times in other female warriors
There is no pretense as to the real purpose of this "armor": it is merely ornamental eye candy to titillate the audience. Leona's battle tactics and abilities are the only reason she can step into a battle arena with practically no protection: She is able to visualize and predict an adversary's attack vectors and simply dodge by teleporting out of harms way while she strikes from afar using bolts of electricity.
