Of course cause if the content was lighter they would just ask a friend they wouldn't need to feel ashamed about liking what they like. Only time I have ever gone to f-chat was because I wanted to do a vore RP and I don't know anyone who would be into that on my skype.

Aaaaah. Gotcha. I admit, it's pretty fun to do, Though, it's time consuming, and you'd have to definitely take the time out f the day to do that.
Kinda wish there was an adventure RP group kinda thing.

Oh yes, they do exist. I was on one myself before I joined the fandom, though my group was based off the Touhou series (which is an awesome yet hard bullet hell shooter where girls, human and youkai battle with magic. The cast is predominately female, with only one male, but he's only ever mentioned in a novel made by the creator, ZUN.) and we all would use all kinds of "spellcards" and stuff. It was awesome.

huh, i diiiiid kinda check out your F-list profile to, and i'm not gonna lie, i'm kinda interested to play with Poland. though most of my cast is female, i'd really be interested into doing more male/male stuff too. and i kinda have a soft spot for cute femme males.
I guess, if you ever are in the mood to do that, i'd love to try that out since not a lot of furs I know are into that kind of stuff.

I'm pretty picky who I start things with. If i'm not interested in the character I'll straight out say so there's no confusion. I generally look for similar kinks and a character that I find interesting enough to interact with.

My experience with planning is basically people wanting me to direct the entire thing, wanting me to get them pregnant, them asking me to play another character, sometimes one that's already established, or sitting around for hours setting up a scene only for them to disappear shortly after we start.

I'm not picky at all about what I want but I'm pretty clear about what I don't want and that doesn't seem to stop people from trying to get me to RP things I'm uninterested in. :I

I site where you can set up characters with an extremely detailed description of themselves sexually to find other people to RP with as that character or others.
I just use it so if someone asks about what I'm into, I link them to my f-list.

As someone who's been using F-List since near its inception and as someone who's been role playing since about 2004 I know the feeling all too well. I've got three characters on there that are my Guild Wars 2 characters and I've got two of my own OC's on there and the ads in F-Chat...yeah. :x

Also, those ads you mention have actually transcended to the point of cliques, complete with asshole-ish clique behavior. If it isn't said cliques with bad attitudes and ads that are discouraging, it's the lack of level-headed and literate folks. I mean, there's specific things I like for all of my characters. However, I'm still civil with folks who aren't a good match for what I'm looking for. Some people on there lose their minds when they get turned down. :T

I know it sounds like I'm shitting all over the site and that's not my intention. I mean, if I hated it that much I would have left a long time ago. :V I just relate to the struggle you're feeling is all. :O

Yeah though it's rare. Generally people are understanding and nice about it but there's the occasional person who'll lose their shit, try to beg and plead to get them to change their mind, or (my favorite since this actually happened to me) tell the person who turned them down why they're objectively wrong for turning them down. :y

I generally just let them blow whatever fuse decided to short circuit when I tell them not interested, let them get it out of their system before ending the conversation by wishing them a good day. :u I only resort to reporting them to mods/admins when/if they start stalking (which I've never had to do yet, thank goodness).

It certainly takes a lot of persistence and patience to find something on there if you're not seeking whatever flavor-of-the-month fetish/plot/setting/kink that happens to show up most frequently in the ads mentioned. There's going to be a lot of frustration, irritation, and even hair-pulling anger during the search (I know, I've pulled my own hair several times :D). However, when you do find that role playing buddy who meshes well with you it really is worth sticking through it all. :)
