Well, research did show that Eeple was "one of five Ahbur robots" designed to interact with children and keep them happy. There was only one generation, though, because the "entire line was a failure", mostly because the robots developed "glitches". Also note that, like the animatronics in every version of 5N@F, the robots have very animal characteristics.
