My dex's low-level-evolving bug type. Nymphly is the base form, a Bug/Water type. If its HP is higher than its Speed, it'll evolve into pure Bug Orbilk at 7, then regain its Bug/Water typing at 10 when it becomes Tickloon. Otherwise, it'll become pure Bug Cacone at 7, then Bug/Steel Waspike at 10.

Waspike, although not particularly fast, is more of an offensively-based pokemon. One could probably compare it to Scizor in that it'd have a similar movepool and relatively similar stats. Waspike, being available much earlier though, is also quite a bit weaker. Plus, Bug/Steel is already a rather common typing with six pokemon having it (including one Uber), so this would probably be a less desirable option.

Tickloon, on the other hand, fits neatly into the "bulky Water" category thanks to its high HP and moderate defenses, gaining access to many HP draining attacks and defensive abilities. Due to relatively low attack power, though, you'd be more likely to rely on status effects for damage rather than actually attacking, and absorption abilities are less reliable without a nature that lends to Special Attack.
