Opposoil is one of those pokemon that has multiple evolved forms. It starts as pure Ground, but when using a Dusk Stone on it, it'll evolve, depending on the time of day, into Ground/Dark Gravossum (at day) or Ground/Ghost Tombossum (at night). Both are geared for being bulky sweepers, Gravossum is geared more toward physical sweeping, while Tombossum is more of an annoyer and special attacker. The downside is that Opposoil will only learn moves unevolved, meaning Gravossum and Tombossum will have to rely on egg moves, TMs, and move tutor NPCs to get access to their better abilities, so unless you're interested in investing a good deal of time into one, you probably won't be using it outside of completing your pokedex.
