That is so true.

Back in the 80s (Yes, I'm old!) there was a "Soldier of Fortune" magazine with an ad; the ad had some poor dead guy's head blown open from the back but his face was intact. The caption for the ad was "No Brain - No Pain!" It was at the time (illegal - still is) a pain killing drug that basically shuts the connections to/from the brain and the pain sensors - making a "super soldier" possible. That is if they did not try to take on a tank head on...

I wish I still had it, I would scan it and post it up. Alas that was long ago however.

You could call someone a super soldier when he can withstand any kinda pain (meaning feels no pain; doesn't know when got hit) and thus collapse when you really are dead, but otherwise able to think and everything. That's what a Finnish computer magazine called the soldiers in Counter-Strike when it was released.

I honestly don't think she can do it even if Chrysalis gave her full green. If the drone really is so simple as to do exactly like ordered and can't think for itself, then it's like trying to make a year old corpse wake up and everything, to return to the life before death.

Which would mean she needs to create a brain and mind from beginning for the drone. That, would be impossible, when excluding computers.

This changeling will be different ...notice the eye color ... changeling eyes are normally green but these ones are blue.....so i say it is a drone with a soul .. so its endless possibilities time

Why not just describe the events of her former lover's life to him and order him to remember the events as happening to him. Then describe the former's personality and order him to have that personality. Finally, just order him to follow or ignore all future orders based on how his personality warrants. Barring that, Twilight's memory spell from the Discord episodes would work well here.
