Why is there not more fanart luvv for this wonderful little mousie?
A few nights ago I watched Rock-A-Doodle; a movie which I'm sure suffered from the fact that just saying the title of it is embarrassing. I'd only seen it once, as a little kid, and in a theater too. Over time I forgot it almost entirely. Seeing it again was akin to magic. I couldn't believe how much of it I remembered just as it was happening. And all in all, the movie's not bad. I was actually impressed at how well it captures the feel, the colors and the almost-makes-sense-but-not-when-you-think-about-it-too-hard internal logic of a child's dream, which is what the whole movie is. (Or is it?)
But what I was unprepared for was falling totally in love with this little rodent. Tiny red cartoon hearts popped out of my head and fell all over the floor. Peepers not only has huge glasses, cool shoes, an *adorable* lisp, but the Biggest Butt In All Of Cartoon Mousedom!!! Sure, one could choose to believe she just has puffy pants, but I think it's all booty back dere. Plus, she's smart, competent, fearless, compassionate and can pilot a damn helicopter! Brains, heart and a magnificent rump. Is it any wonder I'm mystified why this is apparently the ONLY fanart of her on the entire internet!? (EDIT: Apparently not! Woohoo!)
Anyway, I liked her so much, as soon as the movie was over I went on eBay and bought a little happy meal figurine of her (Cuuuute!), and when she arrived, I decided to try drawing her. I wasn't sure how well I'd do, since she has very different body proportions to what I'm used to, but when I started sketching, the lines started falling into place and I was amazed with the result. This is the first time I'd ever even tried to draw her, yet she came out way more on-model than I expected. Yay, me. ;)
I just got this movie on my phone and I love it a lot. But I wondered if anyone knew a small daftness in the movie there is a deleted scene with a skunk being made into pie.... and the skunk was voiced by a female actress! I wonder... what would she have been like?

Yes from what I understood. Most of the details were found by a friend of mine, but I have confirmed many of them. I even made a story based loosely in what I was able to learn and the little bit that was left in the movie.
