A little something created to be sold in the webshop of a German prostitution awareness group, which is currently battling against a lot of public haters trying to condemn sex workers. In Germany, prostitution is (yet) a legal job with tax number, social healthcare and even retirement pension.

I always have a bad feeling when populists are crying for laws against something they deem morally questionable. From banning prostitution to banning porn and from there to banning erotic art is just a small step. Better nip it already in the bud!

It's an interesting standpoint. I've never thought about it that way.

Love the art and completely agree with the premise. It is shocking that after two generations of heightened awareness of worker exploitation and environmental decline, these problems have become worse, not better.  The umbrella is a knowing motif for security and preservation—or am I reading too much into it? ^.^

Yes, but the umbrella is also the symbol for prostitution - the organisation I created this for even picked it as their logo. :)

The former half will always be the most conflicted, no matter what. :\

The irony is the kind of work I do to make a living. Then you factor in I'm probably referred to as the St. Nicholas of Halifax in a few less than well looked upon circles!
maybe i am a bad guy for paying for sex?
Maybe I'm also a  bad guy wean during a White is blizzard a hooker in a Sunday dress between 20 and 40 below zero is standing in the middle of the street waving at passing cars she even ran the words a cop car who barely bothered to slow down in order to fear around her and then drive away.so yaa I'm the bad guy that stoped gave her a blanket ask if she needed a ride over to the hospital took her to her place and let her go change come back and spend the better part of the night in the passenger side of my vantill she headed off to meet a customer.i know her and the slap in the face is she was on a actual date and he kicked her ass out of the car for whatever reason in the middle of a snowstorm wearing the same kind of thing you'd wear going to church on Sunday in a small town.i am surprised she didn't have frostbite by the time I had rolled up and got her off the street. I still remember that image of the cop car barely bothering to slow down and making no attempt to do anything because she was a known working girl.gezzs crist most of them are druggies and shit but they're human too! I've lost count of how many times I've been out somewheres working at a ungodly hour between one and three in the morning during a snowstorm or hurricane and I'll come across somebody staggering down the middle of the highway looking like they're going to collapse and out of about six vehicles out there on the road including the cops I'm the only guy that usually stops.so yaa ipay for sex!i have also bout a few of them something to eathellps 1 get a place to stay for the night at a homeless shelter where she'd been out on the street for a week due to a series of circumstances, option B would've been to let her stay in the Van wich i am okay with, she I can are members thinking I was homeless and asking if I wanted to crash on her coat on more than one occasion till she finally realized i live in the vehicle when I'm working in the city.i work scrap. look I don't think anybody should be hated for selling their ass to feed their habit or keep roof over their head!i suppose I'm a bad person for adding in their condition.i am a guy most women wouldn't even spit on me if I was on fire and it's ironic a few hookers see me more as a human being than most other women solely to they were member me as being that guy they met while they were in a nasty situation.love the pitcher. The girls around here don't dress like that it would make them too obvious. Ironically they do better to carry an umbrella.i gave 1 a raincoat that I had folded up laying in the back and forgotten about do too she was living on the streets and that one in particular wasn't the least bit interested in going to one of the shelters so best I could do was take her out to get something to eat and when she mentioned it being raining the last few days i dug the coat out. 1 of the girls that sticks out disappeared soon after I helped her and I haven't had any luck finding out if she got off the streets or something happened to her.picked her up during a really bad storm and like one of those bad campfire stories never seen her again as if i picked up a highway ghost.
