I keep telling myself I'll finish up the background to this one, but right now it's evident I won't come back to it anytime soon. This seems to be a trend for personal projects.

For a really lazy way out: make a door behind her, partly open; a sign showing "Pool Rules"; and bingo: the background is a mural on a pool room or bath house wall. :-)
Very cutely done! The modest swimsuit (I'd say the style is based on early 20th century ladies swimming costumes) is really cute.

Poor little thing. Unexpected photos can be annoying at the best of times, especially if you're a little bit shy. Her expression is really rather cute, though, and her outfit is adorable. Even unfinished, the background is really lovely. The water and the sky are really nicely done, and I really like how it feels like an actual place, like someplace you could really walk to if you were to visit whatever country/city/etc. she lives in, rather than just some random strip of land. Really nicely done!
