Sewer Guys
This is Slammer, the sole O.C. I added to either of my two episode rewrites (Chaos in Crystal, specifically). He's the captain of the guards at Megakat Maximum Security Prison. I just wanted the guard who informs Meece of the loss of radio contact with the mine to have an identity, and so I named him "Slammer" (after the Thembrian commandant in the Tale Spin episode Gruel and Unusual Punishment) and to establish him earlier so he wouldn't seem so out-of-nowhere, I made him the guard captain and introduced him in the same scene as Meece.

I didn't describe him too much, merely as "tall and thin and wearing the uniform of prison security." Although this suggests that he dresses identically to the guards he commands, to set him apart as the leader, when I drew him, I gave him a uniform jacket, tie and stripes down his pant legs. He has hair underneath his hat since, as you can see in the second doodle there, because he survives Shard's vengeful attack against the prison in my script, he is supposed to (in my canon) eventually replace the dead Meece as the new warden. So I wanted him to look good hatless. When and where I'll use him in his capacity as "Warden Slammer," I don't know.

Not much is delved into about him in the script because he's such an incidental character there, but I tried to give him a vague R. Lee Ermey appearance, and, in terms of personality, be sort of laid back and world-weary, both as guard captain and as the new warden later, not a sneaky and vaguely sleazy guy like Meece. And I definitely want to avoid the "stereotypically abusive prison guard" character trope seen in The Shawshank Redemption (Byron Hadley) and Dead to Rights (Sickle). Despite his tough-sounding name and him definitely being a pretty competent and tough kat, Slammer is a surprisingly mellow and fair-minded guy, which serves him well as warden later. He gets on well with Deputy Mayor Briggs and Commander Feral in this regard.

As much of a replacement for the dead Meece as Belljar is meant to be a replacement for the deformed and reclusive Zyme, Slammer would be used in any episode involving the prison. Considering how much damage Megakat Maximum Prison sustained, perhaps he even becomes warden of Alkatraz after Manx decides to just reopen that prison (shut down since the Manges' escape and death) instead of paying for Megakat Maximum to be rebuilt, making him the jailor of such villains as Turmoil as well as the recaptured Shard.
