We would use the word "And now everyone is equal", I don't follow the series at all just a handful of artists who do fanwork of it but I notice that instead of the 'one' in 'someone' or 'everyone' they replace it with 'pony', so 'everypony' is in fact equivalent to 'everyone' making it a correct phrase.

Indeed, that episode was a clear homage to Cold War "the enemy within" propaganda films like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It was weird. I had not seen that formula used since I was a little kid. The paranoia aspect plays better when there is a fearsome real world ideological enemy to relate to, but it was still a kick in the ol' nostalgia.
