Nick with Silas just behind him, atop a park cannon.
Another one I can't completely relax and just like. It always seemed to me to be just a bit off. Got it into presentable shape after some touching up, and I like the spirit, and the late-winter vibe. I think Nick could look a bit more symmetrical, though. And the cannon still looks linda flat to me. Two-dimensional.
What do you think?

The cannon does look "flat"; I myself thought they were standing atop the wing of some abandoned airplane. But then, Our Host is not renowned for his skill at drawing field artillery, but rather true-to-life snapshots of cubs being cubs, so the work deficiencies here can be forgiven.
As for the rest of Our Host's self-criticism.
