Because standard D&D 3.5/Pathfinder kobolds are dazzled by full light, it was Tsumi's idea to make his lantern a dim, green, chemical sort of thing, likely fueled by moss or slugs.
This was my first chance to draw a more accurate kobold, and I decided to make them properly saurian by basing his feet on some skeletal studies of Caudipteryx zoui.
