If you seen my side tutorial this one is more straightforward , but also harder.
1.The base
For this i find it harder to start from a circle so I started with a more 3 dimensional shape, this is to get a better feel for how it is gonna have to look, it is all rather basic, and no real proportion is given really
Important:
1. Keep it simple, it is easy to overdo, but also keep thinking in 3 dimensions.
2. No details, just blocks.
2. Guidelines:
I didn't really use them , but placed a few to show how the snout was going, Also added the neck area , I would recommend to add where you gonna put the ears
Important:
1: Keep thinking 3D , add smaller details, add guidelines showing the curve, anything you think will help making it.
2: Still try to keep it simple, this is more of the planning phase if anything.
3. Detail:
Add all the details you want using your guide, don't worry about mistakes to much, but try to keep it proportional, this is gonna help you make lineart in the end.
Add all the smaller details as the eyes and marks to
Important:
1: make it all look clean, this is what lineart is gonna get made from, don't rush it.
2: do a final check for details and make sure proportions are all fine
4. Clean the work:
I didn't do it but now make lineart from it, take your time, trace your steps, and make it all look good
Now this is a small thing I did, and surely ain't perfect
it is for me the first time I drew him so this was my journey to drawing him :D (Big Grin)
Keep in mind, if it doesn't work, don't give up, try again, one day you'll be able to do it by yourselfs
