Been in a Starfox mood lately, and found this old pencil sketch in my gallery. Decided it would be fun to ink it yesterday, then after taking a break for dinner my tablet driver threw a fit and decided not to work with the pressure sensitivity... and I couldn't reboot the pc to fix it because I was halfway through a download that wouldn't pause and resume. Blargh.

Finished it today... turns out colour is hard. Also I have work later, and my drawing arm feels sore and heavy, so not doing the cockpit in the background like the character portrait should have. Also no animated mouth... or static... *sigh*...

Why must I always be Mr. Nice Guy? Can you work today? Sure, why not! As if I don't have anything better to do... *mumble, grumble*... at least I've got tomorrow off. Oh yeah, and I remembered the spots this time. XD

I mean, after all, I think I need a new Avatar. Oooh! How about that? Start a "New Avatar for every month" thing? Should be fun! ... if I could think of something else to use for next month. I'm sure it'll come to me... provided it doesn't take ALL of March to finish this one... though I guess that would mean this IS next month's Avatar? Huh. Kinda want to use it now, though... kinda want it FINISHED now! Want it NAAAOOOWW!!1!!11!!!!1!!!! Psshh, who needs work? Wanna f*#$ing DRAW damnit! AARGH! D8<

Update, UPDATE, UPDATE!!

Finished and made an animated avatar out of it. The sequence was longer, but I had to cut it down a bit. Regrettably, it loses something... also, I didn't think of making the sky/stars outside the cockpit moving until it was too late. XD

... also damn that lens flare. DAMN IT I SAY! Why won't you hold still and look pretteh?! D8<

Live and learn. Next time will be better. Yes. =3
SO huzzah! My new avatar for March didn't take as long as I feared! I wonder what I'll do next? Gosh, where do I go from here? ^_^
