Memento mori, or, study of an anatomical study

She was with the Reindeer for three weeks, only coming home for Christmas. I visited almost every day, and I knew what she was getting into, so it wasn't really a shock to see her like that, but we're still getting used to her being … you know, quad.

It'll probably get more awkward again when she gets her wings regenerated, but for now, we're making it work.
