you can do all these brushes and stuff (through if u go up past 100px size, on some computers, it might lag a bit), u can do vector drawings, layer effects, filter effects (though not as much as photoshop), drawing stabilizers so your line looks silky smooth, many options in each brush to customize how you like to use it, typing tool (since sai doesnt have typing ability...), 3d tools like manipulating dolls and camera angles (although it lags the hell out of my computer...i guess i dont have enough ram for it), perspective ruler so u can set up perspective lines and then draw any line and it'll be in that perspective, smart vector inking tools that help make inking and cleaning up/adjusting lines very fast, manga panel making tools, and a ton of other stuff i havent tried.
you gotta go through a tutorial or else you'll spend forever figuring out all the stuff. but the basic stuff like just drawing and coloring is the same as all your other programs, so its easy to start.
the tools i used to make this and the previous cloud pic were Brush tool, soft eraser, layer effect (Dodge Glow), layer effect darken, and blur.
